On a slightly different tack, I was one of the guys and gals who were the
first to be licensed under the then totally new call sign scheme in the
spring of 1977. One day, entirely by accident, I worked KA5AGM and that got
me to making a deliberate attempt to work all of the other KA*AGM calls. I
made 8 of them, but no longer can remember the one that I never came across
on the bands. I never wrote in advance to any of them--just waited around in
the Novice sections of the bands until I heard one of them, then called
until they came back. It was a kinda neat thing to do.

And a merry and blessed Christmas to one and all. Hope you found whatever
you were hoping for under the tree this year.
