Hi Tom:

    Yes, the caps lock also acts as the Jaws key on a laptop.  This is
because, laptops and notebooks don't have a numeric keypad so you can't
actually use the insert key.  Under those conditions, you do have to press
twice in order to get the caps lock to turn on.  You might be able to use
the pass-through command.  You would press jaws key + 3 and you would be
prompted to enter the key you want to pass through.  You would then press
the caps lock and it should work.  You can write to me off-list if you have
