If I recall, if you go in the memory on that radio and put it manually on
the channel you want to program, it will program that one when you program a
frequency in memory, like if you put it on memory, 10 and then program
something in it will go to memory 10. I don't think that radio locks out
channels with nothing in them if I recall right. I know I always had mine
full when I had them because there aren't enough memory channels for me.
Seems like also if you put the frequency in memory, and then want to set the
PL tone, it was always at 67.0 unless you the tone turned on or something
but that's vague, I know there was an easy way to work with that. Now I
miss my HTX-202, thanks a lot lol.
