I think you are going to like the Kenwood TMG707A.  I run one on that same 
supply and it works well.  As long as you are careful to observe the 
correct polarity when hooking it up, you won't have any problem with 
it.  If you can get the programming cable and download the programming 
software from Kenwood's website, it does simplify programming the memories.
