lets just say they are built tough, yet still have a nice friendly feel and
usability to them.
The ic t2H isn't tiny, its about the size of a handheld scanner, like the bc
245 or any of the pro series from radio shack, but the button layout is nice
and yes, it does indeed have a pretty good receiver in it.
I have never experienced intermod with it, and even with the stock rubber
duck, it receives everything just fine.
I think one of the main features of the receiver is that it cuts out certain
frequencies in the audio spectrum that add the sound of static to a signal,
so the signals sound clearer even if they aren't that strong.
With that said, the receiver is still very crisp and loud.
The transmit audio is also nice and loud, but not over bearingly so.
