Chris,
I know where you're coming from, totally.  We have some hydro lines which I
believe are quite close, and I have quite a lot of  static and noise,
particularly on 40 and 80 metres.  Think I may do the same, and see what the

Everything is barried under ground out here so there should be no overhead
lines.  I am going to run all this by the city in the morning and see what
