Thanks for the encouragement. It is unfortunate but there are lot in trained Gambia in the diaspora in all area of science and humanity. Lot I what you said we have research on our areas of expertise in the way forward for our national development. The university of the Gambia suppose to be in the centre of that dynamics, but university education in a country where there is no intellectual and academic freedom is really a concern. I wander if the university is producing citizens to have independent and critical thinking about their environment and world related matters.
