Hello EASI Colleagues,

I will be teaching a preconference course this week at the RESNA Conference
in Atlanta Georgia. It may be of interest to some EASI people.

The name of the course is "Introduction to Job Accommodation." Although not
emphasized in the course description, I will be providing a lot of
information about two perennially popular topics in EASI circles: software
customization and macro techniques. During the session, I will talk about
the importance of software customization and macros as accommodation
strategies in workplaces and in schools, and demonstrate several techniques.

The session is described here:

The course will be running Friday 23 June between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
To register, contact RESNA:

RESNA is a professional association whose membership includes mostly
assistive technologists, computer access specialists, and rehabilitation
professionals. In recent years there has been growing interest in and
participation by people with disabilities. Reflecting this shift, a new
Special Interest Group was recently formed, "Consumer Perspectives of
Assistive Technologies."
