I just thought I'd share that we went to Bethlehem Marketplace at Elmbrook
Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin last night. They transform the entire
gymnasium into the streets of Bethlehem, complete with street vendors,
animals, and a live nativity scene. Afterwards, there is a reception where
there are an infinite number of homemade Christmas cookies. A sign on the
table read, "Gluten free cookies available upon request." I was so happy to
see that, and I stopped a volunteer to thank her on behalf of my son, who
wasn't with us. It is so good to see a rise in awareness and to have others
making accomodations for celiacs, isn't it?
Merry Christmas,
-Mary B.
