It was intended as tongue-in-cheek humor.  As you are probably aware, Yaesu 
has been inaccessible for years, and has demonstrated a dismissive attitude 
when we've asked for their equipment to be made accessible.  Chip Marjelli 
was the marketing head for Yaesu America.
