the only reason is that u didnt install XP pro correctly.
or ur installation is not full. so kindly reinstall it correctly.
as this has happened to me also. and before reinstallation kindly remove
ram and clean it and then put it back and reinstall, as there may be a
problem
with ram also, sometimes RAM speed doesnt match and some files are
not loaded into the system due to which it ends up in poor installation.
follow the procedures what i told and reinstall ur computer is back to
normal
