Hi Dave,
The answer depends on the make and model of the motherboard. Different speed
processors typically need different core voltage requirements. They may also
need different bus speed support also. Not to mention that there are a few
different package types.
If you can find the make and model of the motherboard, you can probably look
up on the manufacturers web site what processors they support.
