Can you still make out the colors of the bands on that resistor? Those
represent the rating of the resistor, and its replacement needs to be
similarly rated.

gives the color code substantially as I learned it over 30 years ago,
although it appears to have been extnded a little in that time.

gives an alternate rendering which I do not believe is correct.
