All,
Two things:
the linux software would not be accessible unless a linux screen reader were
built into it, and since he doesn't mention such, I don't think it
would be the case.
these various linux distributions with and without applications that boot
from a CD directly actually load the linux operating system
directly without dealing with your hard disk or current operating system in
any way. there are some of them, linux distributions that is,
that can be ordered with a screen reader built in, I havn't tried any yet
and should do so.
but they will not work with jaws or any other windows screen reader.
Second: on the MFJ209 and MCount, yes they work
together right out of the box, but you need a VCO, "Voltage controlled
oscilator' to readout the vswr from the analyzer, this is mainly what my article
in QST is about.
