Hi Andy,

The easy way to program the memories is by software. If I remember
correctly, I think there might be a memory programmer available for that
radio from Kenwood or I may be confusing that with the TS-2000. If not, Ham
Radio Deluxe lets you program them I think.

For CTCSS, if I remember correctly, these are tied to the "4" key on the
number pad in FM. Mine is in the SUV but I think just momentary presses of
the "4" key changes it from no tone to TX, to RX and then DCS and back to no
tone. Then, if you press and hold the "four key for" a second or more it
switches on the PL tones list and you can rotate through them with the multi
function knob on the right of the radio. I may be all wet here and others
may be able to give you directions that are more accurate. I don't use this
much since I mainly run mine HF mobile nowadays but I have in the past.

Good luck and very 73.

Kevin :)

Subject: Help with Kenwood TS 480 S A T

Hi All, Sometime ago someone set me instructions for programming the
Memories on this rig, I have lost these so if someone could be so kind as
to send these again to me I would be very appreciative. Also how do I find
the CTCSS frequencies. I want to program a ten meter repeater and a six
meter one.
