If you go to gateway.com and can type in your serial number you will get
back the original factory configuration for that unit.  From there you
can find model numbers for the original hardware build of that unit as
well.  Another source once you know the model numbers of the various
boards  to locate drivers is drivers.com 

My current problem with a Gateway of that era mfg date 9/21/06 is that
it uses RAMBUS memory which is a bit harder to find.  Anyone got some
matched sets of c600 128 chips they are willing to part with cheeply?
