The 7600 is a great little receiver. The only problem i've had with mine is
that the thumb wheel pots, particularly the volume and BFO adjust  got dirty
almost imediately and have been a constant source of trouble.  Otherwise,
it's great if a bit small.  Lou  WA3MIX
