Hmmm, not too sure what to tell ya as far as what radio to go for. You want
accessibility, but at the same time, you want to have a suitable price. So
not sure. Good luck with finding a good one. That's too bad that you're
having to give your friend one with out a battery, but hey, guess that
happens. 73

Subject: Something Between the VX2 And The Kenwood THF6A In Price?
Hi guys,
Man oh man! I was really looking forward to going down to the candy store
and buying something besides a Diamond SuperGainer antenna with
3.5 DB gain! Since I can't use the VX2 series and my friend can't use the
VX-150, I need something in between the two prices of the VX2 and the
Kenwood THF6-a.
My friend is really disappointed because the rig I'm giving her is minus a
battery charger, and no power supply. I hope this isn't a sign of more bad
stuff to come on down the road.
88's and 33 where appropriate,
