We get spoiled here. I called AES, and they have the ldg tw1 for HF
and the LDG tw2 for UHF/VHF in stock. $149 each. It's kind of cool,
but not nearly as responsive as my 35 year old voltage controled
oscellator for seeing changes.
I can turn down the drive, but will have to go in to the ts480
buttons to turn it down and up. More time. I might use the 25 watt
AM carrier. It's fun to know how much power you actually get out of
stuff. I peaked up the valiant and got 180 watts out, not bad on CW.
