Jeremy,

Miracles, according to John MacArthur and many others, died out with the
last apostle, whoever he was, and that miracles were only done by God to
authenticate the personage of Jesus as the Messiah.  I'm assuming this means
that God just can't be bothered with all those believing people today who
pray and ask Him for a miracle.  Poor God.  I actually feel sorry for Him
sometimes.
