Hi All--
I''ve had moderate to severe leg muscle pain for many years now. None of my
docs seem to know what's causing it, though they're considering peripheral
neuropathy as a result of the slow celiac dx I received. I was doing some
research on trans fats this weekend and learned that trans fats can
contribute to inflammation. Believe it or not, I can't tolerate the taste
(or even the smell) of butter. I've been using Fleischmann's margarine, but
it has trans fats and soy that I'm trying to avoid. Everything I see on the
shelves advertise "great buttery taste."
Can anyone suggest a GF margarine that doesn't taste like butter that has no
trans fats and no soy? If not, can anyone suggest anything I can use on
toast or for baking that is a liquid? I don't know how to convert a biscuit
or bread recipe from using shortening or butter to using a liquid oil. Any
suggestions on that? Sorry to be asking so many different questions...I
think I must be the only one in the world who doesn't like butter!
I'll summarize. Thanks! ~~Ayn in Alabama
