In response to your saying that you feel like one of those "no ability" 
people, can't you get a license for counseling?  I think you can use the 
truths that you've learned from secular psychology together with God's word 
from the Bible and God's personal word to those you are supporting.  One of 
my brothers went back to school, in his 30's and 40's, I believe, and became 
a counselor with a Master's degree.  The world needs more of counselors who 
really know the lord and help their clients to hear directly from god.
