Oh Jenifer!
Thank you for sharing this with us! I love my Lord Jesus Christ with my
whole heart, soul, mind and strength! I was talking with a dear friend who
quite recently returned to being a jehova's witness after not practicing for
a number of years, and we were discussing our very different theologies.
She tried to tell me that Jesus was not the Son of God but that he is our
king. I told her kindly but very emphatically and with my entire heart and
soul that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is my Lord and Savior! She
also wanted me to believe that the Holy Spirit is not a person and not part
of the Holy Trinity, He is only a spirit! I told her there is one God, in
three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We read passages to
each other from our two different translations of the bible, in some parts
similar and others dramatically different, and shared many points with each
other. This is the first time I really got into a theological discussion
with a good friend regarding the differences between Catholics and jehova's
witnesses. Please pray for her along with me. I love her very much and
greatly desire that she will come to believe in God and know Jesus Christ as
the Lord and Savior of us all!
