Hi Sharon!

Regarding other versions of The Bible, I use the NIV myself because I 
am a Braille reader, and the N I V was at the price I could afford, FREE!

I believe that The N I V is geared more toward the Bible Student, and 
the King James Version is very poetic, and most of the time, I need 
the explanations the N I V gives while quoting Scripture.
