Andy's surgery went pretty good. they had him in longer than expected
because of scar tissue they had to get through and also try to work
around. they also put larger expanders in than they thought. They said he
will be in pain for some weeks to come. Normally in such operation they
give a 20% chance the skin stretches out to a point of tearing due to
thinness. Andy has 50% chance that will happen. Imagine having your skin
stretched to that point on your head? Well it is necessary to make his
reconstructive surgery a success. He is a tough kid though having made it
through all he has and I know will come through OK.
