Have you gone into the BIOS/CMOS while the computer is initially
starting. Since you have installed a new battery, the BIOS should
automatically find the correct amount of memory in your computer and
remember it. In the BIOS, check to see that the hard drive(s) is
correctly identified. You may have to click on the "auto" key for your
hard drive(s) if there is an "auto" key in your BIOS (there are many
variations in different BIOS). In essence you want to make sure that the
BIOS has correct information. You should save any changes and exit the
BIOS. The computer should then start without a problem. If not, please
post again for further help.
