The specs for the 700x should be 2 banks of 2.  This means that you should be able to run it with 2 good RDRAM sticks.
   
  I would number the chips with a felt pen 1-4 and then using a process of elimination, find which 2 are good among the 4.  I would hope that you have at least 2 good sticks, because it takes 2 to get a bank to POST.

  My favorite cheap and reliable online stores are showing a pair of 256's for your machine at 199.00 usd (pricey by today's standards!)
