I am a novice...let me start with that. Now, I replaced the motherboard in my mom's computer...Gateway. I have everything hooked back up, I think correctly.. The system will boot up, lights on, monitor on, keyboard on, fan's running and I can feel the harddrive running. Now, I get a message on the monitor stating..No signal/ Check signal cable.
Can anyone help me dicepher this? I hooked my computer up to the monitor and it comes on.
The old motherboard does not have a video card, and there is a slot on the new board for one, but is it needed to run this one? That is my only guess.
If anyone can help, this would be appreciated.
