Dedicated to my friends, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles and neighbors who disappeared in the past twelve years of
abnormal normalcy in resemblance of democracy. Where the abundacy of
thuggery and fallacy is celebrated as if it is fancy....
Disappear Appears But Normal
When the colors in the sky at sunrise
Vanished with the mirage in a surprise
As the scrapers blend with the fog
Logged time seems to evanesce
When courage seem to evaporate
While memories all but dissipate
While hope slowly vanished
Disappear appears in our midst
As with nothing but a warning
Rendition became the condition
Those we thought indomitable
Became less than incensed ignoble
Troubled, fading while evading
Invulnerable became invincible
Vamoosed, I am no longer bemused
As disappear appears again but normal
Like the frost at crack o’ dawn
Good sons and daughters wholly undone.
