Shelly,
Praying for your teeth. I hae had problems both with chipped and crooked
teeth, so I know how that goes.
Also praying for Ellie. I didn't have to do the grainless thing with Lear,
so I don't have adivice. Prayer, though, is the most important thing, and I
can do that.

Well today was the dentist apt I was all nervous about. Unfortunately esp
after being so nervous they didn't do anything. When I was 9 I tripped and
chipped a tooth. When I was 14 it abcessed. A root canal was done, but done
incorrectly. By the time this was discovered the infection had spread to the
surrounding 2 teeth. So I had 3 root canals and work done to clear the
infection out. Guess what? This work was done incorrectly also! Finally 5
years ago the 3 and by now an additional 4th tooth had to be worked on
having the 1 tooth pulled because it just couldn't be saved. I've been doing
well, pain free for 5 years. But it came back with a vengence a couple weeks
ago. The teeth and gums are infected again. And so its back to the
specialist I go. I'm trying to prepare myself to lose at least 1 more of
these teeth. Arg!! But I've got pain meds and antibiotics to get me feling
better and he's double dosing me for 2 days so that hopefully by Sunday when
I eave for christian summer camp I'll feel normal.
My ride went well. I was very nervous riding English so requested the leader
and sidewalkers for the whole 20 minute ride. I think it will c ome back to
me though. The saddle was comfortable. Its jsut really different. I can't
believe I ever rode in a dressage saddle in confidence! The horse is small
and narrow and has the Arab walk. That too will take used too. I'm used to
big quarter horses grin. But I liked all the staff and the ring is
completely covered which will help with orientation while riding.
Therapy was as I had been warned difficult but very helpful.
Ellie has yet another ear infection her 6th in the last 18 months. The vet
thinks its food allergies and is recomending a switch to a very expensive
like 75 a month grain free diet. Curious if any of the rest of you feed
grain free what you use and how it works.
There's more if you have a live journal acount add me as a friend as it is a
protected post.
