I don't normally leave things to the last minute, but I'm going to a party tomorrow night in Wabi Sabi Japanese Steakhouse in Paoli, PA. (At crowded dinner hour! Yuck! I usually avoid the crowds, but can't be helped.)
I know not to eat soy sauce and teriyaki sauce and tempura and all things that touch them, and no panko crumbs either. I don't intend to drink saki, which I heard has barley in in. But it would be less conspicuous if I at least tried the sushi. I googled and did ask.com for gluten-free sushi and got conflicting lists. So help.....
What do you all find you can eat in a sushi restaurant? I'm not attempting to have the steak on the hibachi grill, because of the sauces and contamination, so I either order steamed stuff off the Chinese side of the menu (I just called ahead...they can do that), or I'll try the sushi....with your help.
Thanks a million.
Linda
