This should be evident in a rise in blood sugar after eating I assume? I
meant to test this after I got my glucometer but have relocated and haven't
gotten around to it.
It brings me to another question though. My husband and I moved to Monterey,
TN with a population of 3,000 to 6,000 (it's hard to tell!). The closest
bigger town is Cookeville which has a Kroger and Wal-Mart. Both have very
limited selections of organic veggies. At most I have found lettuce,
cauliflower, onions, celery, and carrots. Nashville, which I believe has
bigger stores like Whole Foods, is a 1 1/2 hour drive away. I eventually
want to plant a garden but what can I do in the meantime? If I buy
non-organic foods what can I do to protect myself?
