What I am concerned about is poor operating procedures, much more 
is-information because of people thinking they know more than they 
do, multiplied by speech processors and the availability of very high 
power.  It's the dumbing down and lessening of the discipline and 
hard work necessary to earn admittance to the hobby.
Most people found either code or theory difficult, therefore the 
earning of HF privileges had value because it was an 
accomplishment.  Now it will not be valued by some, because it will 
not take any work to get licence.
