Phil,

Go to the npr website
http://www.npr.org
and you will find a full reporting on the day to day program which airs
here just before lunch.

A group of private investors is making the bid and will sell off the
television wing among other things. That is all I can recall at this
time. Some smaller stations in some markets may also be spun off.

Thank you!

Subject: Clear channel

I wonder why Clear Channel is only saying that a group of private
investors
have purchased the network? They have to be operating under some
company
name so why isn't Clear Channel, on their own news broadcast, telling
who
bought them out? I find that interesting. Anybody hear anything more
than
this about it? They own about 8 stations in the Denver market.

Phil.
