The free contest CW program I have been using is almost the next best thing
to being on the air. The polar flutter, the static, line noise, QSB, other
stations calling CQ contest on top of your frequency, having to tune up and
down because calling stations are outside the passband filtering, stations
on the same exact frequency, one station calling, or a dozen or more, you
name it, it does it just about. So, I was thinking, somebody could write
rag chewing software and I could work CW on any band, any time of the day or
night, various band condition simulated, short contacts or long rag chews,
and I'd hardly know the difference. I guess it is being done already, just
about.

Phil.
