if you know what your computer takes, you can do it, but the key is knowing,
do you have room for more memory or do you have to replace what's there with
higher rated chips? what the rating is on them, 333, 266, 400, does it need
2 chips or will 1 do, there is a lot to it but if you know what you're
looking for you're good. If that's a store bought computer, you can go to
Kingston's web site and use the memory configurator, enter your brand and
model number and all and it will tell you exactly what you need or what the
computer can take. If it was custom built, you'll need to know what the
mother board is.
