hello,
yes, this is more on topic than it is off, but, and this is a silly
question for someone who claims to be good at linux stuff, but someone
with linux or that knows, what is the correct device in linux for the
first serial port which would be com1 in dos, i'm not sure and never was,
if it is ttys, tys, tts, pts, or what,
I have my tnc on serial port 1 and cant seem to get it to either recognize
it or echo anything back to me like the prompt for5 the tnc, I hope my tnc
isn't done for yet but in windows it worked with hyperterminal but then
again i have unplugged the tnc since that so maybe i don't have the right
baud, i dunno, or perhaps minicom is garbage?
if there is a better term program for linux, could someone let me know?
thanks
matt
