Congrats on the new ticket.  Sure you'll enjoy the hobby, and feel free to 
ask any questions on the list.

As for used gear, you can look on a couple different websites, as well as 
ask around locally at your local radio club, if there is one.  Check the 
classifieds at eham.net and qth.com.
