I own a bnw kt30 which works from 160 to 10 meters and with those antennas you have to get them 1/4 wavelength above ground for the lowest band in use.  For 160 meters if I've done my calculations right that would be 117 feet.  This is because they are folded dipoles and those are sensitive to ground effects.  73- pat kk3f
