A warning on 'Peel-Away I'.
It is my experience that the only place that 'Peel-Away I' can be used
is on metals. PRG, Inc. sells Peel-Away paint removal products but we do
not handle the 'Peel-Away I' except as a special order. 'Peel-Away I'
requires neutralization afterward and in my opinion, it is not realistic
to expect satisfactory neutralization, most of the time. The product
will seep into porous and absorbent materials such as wood and masonry.
The ability for the neutralizing agent to soak in and pH balance the
material can be difficult. We have seen too many completed projects
with sever paint failure due to less than adequate neutralization of
'Peel-Away I'.
