My understanding is that the internal tuner in the 2000 will never work
on 60 meters even if the tx mod is done to allow tx on that band.
It's been years since I bought a g5rv (1987) made by Van Gordon. I do
remember that the literature in the package said that it was for 80 - 10
meters except 10 mhz. I never tried to run it on that band since my TS
430 manual gave some warning about lack of final efficiency on that band,
so I stayed away.
