Hi Mike, the 817 by Yaesu is the radio to which I was referring as not being
blind friendly, the 718 by Icom on the other hand, is a Very Blind Friendly
unit IMHO, and that seems to be the feeling of quite a few others.  Maybe
some handiham or icanworkthisthing.com help with it would be good to check
out.  If I can help in any way, I'd be glad to, thanks for the note, Danny.
