yep, i guess corprit america really should stick to their guns and prevent
freedom of opinion, thought and expression from going out on the air waves.
Lets bring back the good old days when a radio personality, if stupid enough
to diss his own organization would indeed be kicked out and replaced with
one that towed the line!
Lets bring back the days when a radio personality was only allowed to have
one opinion and wasn't allowed to deviate from his or her point of view for
fear of losing listeners and thus losing the company money. (sarcasm!!!)

I think the good old days were pretty backwards and non-progressive.
Not only that, but radio is the least efficient medium to gain correct and
desired information.
With the internet and its countless sources of up to the minute and accurate
information with nearly every point of view you can think of all delivered
to you on one search engine, why bother with turning on a radio where you
will have to sit there and listen to ignorant callers and borring narrow
minded personalities?
To gain the same information you can get in less then 5 minutes on the
internet, you would have to listen to a radio program for over an hour
enduring camercials and truely stupid people!
The problem with mass media including radio, TV and newspapers is that they
give you a decided opinion or set of opinions and view points to which you
are subjected to and influenced by.
If you conduct your own factual research, and have access to many many more
opinions and points of view, you can more accurately decide what you wish to
believe.
It is very very easy for almost anyone to be influenced by what they hear or
see and there is not offten a very good representation of an opposite
opinion or point of view in the media.

that's it for this evenings rant!!!
