Yes, some 400 stations in smaller markets will be spun off. Mine is among
them and I'm a bit concerned about whom will end up with. I won't get into
discussing clear Channel's real or imagined sins but they were quite willing
to solve access problems for me. A smaller company may not be so willing to
do so but we'll see. No use courting trouble, I guess. At any rate, we've
heard it will be at least 6 months before something happens and, in my
experience, it usually takes at least twice as long as they predict.
Of course, like howard, I could end up with more time for ham radio. Lou
