Hi Anthony,

I've never owned an Icom ic7000, but I have heard several on the air.  Guys 
who have owned them really like them, but the ones that I have heard had a 
peculiar high pitched ringing sound in the transmitted audio that I really 
did not like.  The ringing sound is not always there, just once and a while, 
but to me, it was annoying.
