Howard,

Are those connections reversed in all 480s, or just the early 
ones?  I bought a W2IHY 8-band equalizer, and had cables made for the 
480 and for the TM-G707A.  I was able to use either cable on both 
radios with no ill effects.  Go figure.  I have a feeling it's only 
an issue if you find RF getting into things, but I don't really know that.
