Just a comment here.  Some programs perniciously bury themselves in the 
registry, so a simple uninstall from the control panel may not be enough. 
This might be what the tech support people were referring to, but don't know 
for sure.

I wonder if some of the default translation settings were changed in the SR2 
version.
