this one has no adhesive back, it does have the screw holes but the screws 
on the top of the icom 2720 don't line up and that's where the head ends up, 
right on top of the radio, there's 0 table space, even when I bring the pac 
mate or laptop, it stays in my lap and all actual writing is done on paper 
on top of the HF radio they never use.
