That is what I figured.  I didn't know you already had an ht.  The best 
radio, if you can find one, is the tmv-7a.  It is what use to be the 
upgrade from the 707.  It isn't quite as blind friendly, but does 
crossband quite easily, is computer programable and so forth.  The 
replacement for the tmv-7, I forget the model, does crossband, but its 
only drawback is it isn't computer programable.

Crossband is sure fun.  I had a similar situation when I lived back in 
Kansas when I was 50 miles from the machine.
