the tram 1480 is a very good bass antenna...its around 8 and a half feet
long and has 3 20 inch ground planes at the bottom.
The 1481 is the big brother of that one and is around 17 feet long.
The 1480 is rated at 7DB gain on VHF and 9DB gain on UHF.
The 1481 has 9DB on VHF and 12 on UHF.
The 1480 can be had for around 60 bucks on ebay...a guy with a store call
kentennas sells tram equipment including mobile antennas and coax on ebay.
by the way, the tram antennas are vertually the same as the diamond
verticals which are 4 times the price.
